Website Design
Does your business or community group need a website?
I can provide websites that are very simple to maintain for anyone with basic computer skills, with no special software programs required.
Time permitting, I am usually more than happy to help out deserving community groups with a website at minimal to no cost.
All websites I make come with an easy to use administrative section that allow for anyone with basic computer skills to add, remove or change the websites content. I also provide an easy to follow user manual showing how to manage the website, in addition to initial training (onsite) which is provided at no extra cost. The website will also come with web hosting and a domain name, so you do not have to worry about this. This means that the website will be completely ready to use, no technical jargon for you to worry about.
If you wish, I can also maintain the content of your website after the intial setup. This includes adding new content, removing content, and making changes to content.
I have made a Website User Manual to assist clients with using their website. You can download it if you have misplaced your copy, or if you want to have a look at how my websites work from an owners point of view. (This manual requires Adobe Reader (or another PDF reader) to be installed on your computer.)
All websites will meet the W3C standards, unless it is impractical to do so for a specific (non-standard) feature your website may require. These standards help to ensure that your website can be easily used by people with vision impairments and non standard computer equipment.
