Sporting Club Software

27/6/2011 - Over the next few weeks, I will be making available my latest software program. It is a web-based program which allows sporting clubs to keep handle all of their administrative work.

At the moment, however, it only has one feature, which is to allow you to quickly and easily make a slideshow presentation of your Vote Count / Best and Fairest Count. You are able to load your votes into it each week (in minutes) during the season so as there is virtually no work to be done at the end of the season.

Over time, I will gradually build other features into it to allow it to handle various administrative tasks that clubs need to do - If you want something added to it, let me know, and I will look into it.

The information is below is out of date, as it refers to an older program I made. however, it will give you a rough idea of what the vote count aspect of the new program does.

(2010) I have available a new computer program that will allow you to quickly and easily create a computerised slide show for a sporting club or league "Vote Count" or "Best and Fairest count." It is suitable for most sports, and can be used by both clubs and leagues.

Do you normally spend hours entering names and votes into a PowerPoint presentation, counting up votes, checking, fixing mistakes, rechecking, each season? This software will eliminate most of that work, and take away the potential for typing and counting errors.

Each round is shown as a separate slide, and shows each vote, which you display as it is being read out. Each round also has a progressive Top 5, which is calculated at the start of the round.

It is very simple to operate - you will be given a password to ensure only you can access the system; When asked, you put the password in, then add all your players, all your rounds, specify the amount of vote cards and votes for each round, enter all the votes, click a button, and within seconds, the presentation will be generated, and will appear on your screen. Then you just save it on to your computer, and can play it later.

Please not that this does not require Microsoft PowerPoint, or any other software. The resulting slide show plays in your web browser. (Common web browsers include Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Safari and Google Chrome.)
